In November 2006 CCPI was born with a vision...
Canadian Cherry Producers Inc., a producer-controlled organization, exists to support a thriving and sustainable prairie-centred industry that provides premium University of Saskatchewan cherries to the world.
Canadian Cherry Producers Inc is actively pursuing a number of initiatives. But currently CCPI has four areas of prime interest:
- Production
- Processing
- Marketing
- Research
CCPI does not duplicate the efforts of other prairie fruit growers’ associations. We encourage our members to join at least one of these associations.
We believe in partnerships, internal and external, that will advance individual growers' ability to sustain their farms. We know that together growers can tackle a huge list of industry issues that would overwhelm individual growers.
